Returns procedure

Indy-c fashion & accessories Returns procedure

In order to keep track of goods being returned we implement a return authorization system.  As part of our policy we ask that all stores phone to gain a Return Authorisation Number (RA) before returning any goods.  This way we can keep track of all replacements & credits. 

Procedure for the return of goods

1) Phone 08 8377 5033 and obtain a return authorization number

2) Please make a note of the following and include with items being returned:
- Corresponding invoice number
- RA (return authorization number)
- Style Number
- Reason for return

3) Please remove any price tags and pack items thoughtfully.

4) Return items via Australia Post as soon as possible (unless another arrangement has been made with Cindy).  Cost of postage can be credited.

5) A replacement will be sent where possible otherwise a credit note will issued.

CONDITIONS OF RETURN

A request for return must be made within 7 days of delivery (or in the case of sold items 14 days from the date of purchase).

Goods acceptable to return are:
- Items that are already damaged on delivery
- Items that were not ordered
- Items that have been purchased that are in good condition, apart from evident manufactures fault
- Orders not received within a reasonable* time

*Reasonable delivery time:
While every effort will be made to deliver goods at the earliest date within a delivery “window” the supplier reserves the right to send goods within the full length of the window for example orders for March delivery will be treated as a delivery window of 1st to 30th of March.

We will not accept returns when:
- Stockist has not obtained an R.A number
- The RA number, reason for return, invoice & style numbers aren’t listed with the item returned
- Buyer/owner change of mind
- The item has been slow to sell
- An RA has been given but our office has not received the items within 14 days of RA being issued
- Stockist receives orders placed on back order that buyer/store had forgotten about
- Damage is caused by the purchaser or customers in store
- We receive items back in further damaged condition to that of the original complaint
- The style is over a year old

Please be aware that our jewellery is costume jewellery and only expected to last as long as it’s trend or as long as the purchaser cares for it.  We do not consider links breaking due to catching & snagging or careless storage to be faults

We ask our stockists to remind customers purchasing our bags that some linings are thin and they should avoid exposing the lining to sharp objects.

We will asses each return once received back at head office before issuing a credit. If a credit is not to be issued because it is not a legitimate fault or the style is too old we will notify the store.
